Valentines day card for my hubby

This card I made today while my hubby was at work. Cutting it fine I know! I used a swirl stamp and red ink. I Mat and layered some red and back card with red metal heart embellishments and used some cork letters and used red crystal lacquer over the top of the letters to spell love.

3 more oriental cards

This card is using a oriental symbol stamp for the back ground using encore gold metallic ink and another oriental kimono stamp using red brilliance ink. Colour washed it with red and black whisper pens, I used the same stamp on frosted shrink plastic and the same red brilliance ink.

This card I have used a paper cut image and sprayed glued it to the black card and used acetate over the top and used eyelets to keep it in place. (please ignore the reflection, its hard to get it without it on acetate!)

This card is a bit of decoupage for the Geisha girl and using some more oriental stamp which means friendship from crafters companion and used blue and green brilliance inks to get the two tone look and to finish the card off I thought a nice coin and a bit of blue organsa ribbon.

Oriental dragon

Yes another orienatl card, but this is the first one I have done that looks like its coming through the card. For this I have use a dragon stamp and brilliance red ink and used oriental symbols as a background in encore ultimate metallic gold ink. I used the same ink to edge all the ripped and torned edges and rolled them and stamped the symbols in black brilliance ink which mean happy birthday. I am really pleased with this card I hope the person getting this card likes it too!!!

Football Card for a man

This card is for my friends partner, he always goes to home matches at the weekend so I thought I would make him a card with the team colours. (Yeovil town). To make this card I used google to find a picture of a football and printed it 8 times. I cut them in to squares and folded them to make the teabag, I put a black brad through the middle to finish it off. I didnt know if it would work but I am really pleased it did. I cut 3 stripes of green paper and measured where to stick them on to make them equall. I took "football fan" peel offs and drew around them and then coloured them in, in gold metallica sakura pens. Using a stamp for the sentiment with a versamark and gold embossing powder. For the goal! and the footballs I used my boys and toys see d stamps with black ink.

This is the inside of the card and I decided I would do a pop up card. For the inside of the card I thought it would be nice to see the clubs shield though a shield shape so I googled for both of those images. I used the same stamps again for the footballs and the cup and for the 2 footballers I used 2 peeloffs and colour tinted them with a cotton wool ball and green ink and then peeled off the peel off to give a different effect. I hope he likes the card because it took quite a while to do.
