Altered CD

I managed to create my first ever piece of altered art today. I wanted to try it ages ago but didnt know if any of my crafty bits would work on it.

I used Marvy Metallic pens and sprayed with water then moved the cd side to side to merge the colours together and left it to nearly dry, then dabbed with a sea sponge over the cd to blend in the lines.

Mums birthday card

The top card I made for my mum from my dad, I had made a card for a friend on a forum and mum liked it, so I decided I would make her a similar one .

I used some metal flower embellishments, some gems (white for the pink card and pink for the white.)Sticky ribbon at the bottom and some beads for my mums name and finally used peel offs for the rest of the wording. I colour tinted the card with pink ink using a cotton wool ball.

(middle) I was inspired by a picture from a magazine (cant remember which) but I liked the card because it was different to what im used to doing. It is a screen card with six sides to decorate! That was a challenge in itself!

Im really loving the oriental theme at the moment.

I have used oriental stamps for the background, fan, butterfly, flowers and symbols. The rest is using peel offs. I used three coins for that finishing touch. I tinted the card with black and red ink using cotton wool.

My 1st waterfall card

This is my very first waterfall card & I made it all from scratch. I have used oriental stamps & simply embossed them with silver embossing powder. I used a eyelet to put the ribbon through at the bottom to make it easier to pull. I love blue & silver together.
