Wedding Card

This is for one of my cousins who got married on the 22nd Dec (07).
I used See CD stamps for the waterfall and brads to keep it in place, peel offs for the words and the hearts. For the back ground I used marvy metallics pens and & sea sponge.

Exploding Box

This is for my Dad's birthday who has reached another mile stone in his life, so I decided I would get some old photos of him from when he was a baby through to today! (With the help of my Mum and my sister thanks to you both). For the lid I used Crafters Companion Oriental CD and printed 1 doubled sided sheet and cut it out. I use the same CD and printed a sheet of tea bag papers to go on the top of the box. I wanted to have charms hanging down, so I made from white shrink plastic, the first charm I stamped Happy on side and birthday on the other side using blue Brilliance ink. The second charm is using a dragon stamp which I have stamped on both sides using the same brilliance ink. I attached the silver cord through the holes on the shrink plastic and added the coins. I put a mini silver brad through the hole of the tea bag so the cord could be attached at the same time, then stuck the whole thing to the lid. For the message I have cut a silver and a white square to mount underneath the lid on the inside ready to my to write.

For the base I used a template for the box which fits onto A4 paper (which Linda sent me from a forum I go on, thank you Linda!) I printed 3 different sheets of double sided card from Crafters Companion Oriental CD. Cut out the template and got started on which photos was going where after I had took photos of the photos! I then cut them to fit the squares and mounted them on silver card and stuck them on each flap and layer. I then stuck all 3 layers together . (The template only had to layers so I had to make a third one). This is my first exploding box, I have not seen one in real life before and didn't know how it would turn out.

Anniversary Card

This is a card for my sister and her husband. As you all know im loving the oriental theme at the moment so I decided to use it on their card aswell. I have used stamps for all of this card, I used versamark ink and gold embossing powder. For the dragon I used a sakura stardust pen and water coloured the background in using a blue whisper pen. I coloured the edges with a red ink pad for both the dragon and sentiment. The little blue dragon is on frosted shrink plastic using brilliance ink.
